Macquarie University Central Courtyard Precinct

Macquarie University campus works program prioritised the upgrade of their Central Courtyard Precinct, being the “heart” of the university being a significant recreational and social area for both students and staff.

The development and new additions to the space make it the University’s largest project in 54 years. Including a new 4-level building, graduation hall and stage, pre-function and function rooms, commercial kitchen and plant area. 12 food and beverage retail outlets with large indoor and outdoor seating spaces including the iconic U-bar with a terrace overlooking the lake and 26 formal classrooms and informal spaces on the first and second floors.

With a project so large Relec Switchboards were able to provide Macquarie Uni with the power to facilitate its new additions, having well over 50 different switchboards installed all way from Main Switchboards, Distribution Boards to Tee-Off Boxes and more.
